Nido 1

From 18 months
Children who turn 2 during the school year.

In Nido 1, children want to understand the world through all their senses. They take their first steps outside the home to discover a universe of colors, shapes, and textures. Their curiosity and wonder invite them to explore, name what they discover, and meet others, thus opening the door to their first social adventures.

Ratio of 5 children per adult.

Nido 2

Children who turn three during the school year.

In Nido 2, children explore the world with new questions, blossoming words, and friendships that begin to form. They start to use language to express desires and emotions, while numbers and words take on greater meaning. Their hands gain precision and strength, and every stroke, movement, and game is enriched by close pedagogical support.

Ratio: 6 children, 1 adult.

Nido 3

Children who turn four during the school year.

In Nido 3, children continue to explore the world, while their friends become partners in play and ideas. They strengthen cognitive and social skills, develop fine and gross motor skills, and begin to learn about numbers, letters, and symbols that help them understand their environment.

Ratio: 8 children, 1 adult

Our team

Amanda Felton

Coordinator

I am a former student of Colegio Bolívar, Class of ’98. I am a specialist in pedagogy and child development (0-6 years) and have a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Supervision, which has allowed me, together with a great team of educators, to create a very special place for the youngest children at the school, where wonder, discovery, and exploration become the cornerstones of Deeper Learning.
In this space, pedagogical innovation is integrated into everyday life, giving meaning and emotional value to every moment of the day. As a family, we invite you to join us on this adventure and enjoy together the stories that are born every day at El Nido.

The El Nido team is made up of a group of cheerful professionals committed to childhood culture: teachers who believe in children’s potential, in respecting their individual pace, in the value of play, imagination, and creativity, and in mistakes… just to take a breath and keep growing.

We also have specialists in movement, music, and library services who enrich the children’s daily experience, and a counseling team that accompanies both children and families, strengthening bonds and supporting the comprehensive development of each child.
